Tomorrow's Forecast: Hot with a Strong Chance of Flying Pigs

Every woman has an "I'll never" list before she has children.  Here are a few highlights from my own list:

I'll never...
  1. Drive a mini-van (mine's white with a big dent in the side)
  2. Bribe my children (can you say potty training?)
  3. Use the TV as a babysitter (let me go turn down "Word World" so I can focus a little better)
  4. Pay money to see one of those stage shows based on a TV character...
I really thought this one would be no problem.  But its the BACKYARDIGANS.  Come on, who doesn't love these cute little animals with their groovy music and dancing?  And this show is "Tale of the Mighty Knights", a rock operetta for crying out loud!

We've been Backyardigans fans for a while.  In fact, Doc Brown's 5th birthday party had a Backyardigans theme, complete with a Pablo pinata (which was a great idea in the store, but was really disturbing when the kids started whacking it...).

So, in the name of Pablo, Uniqua and company, I joyfully cross one more "I'll never" off my list, but I'll never buy an overpriced souvenir at the show...

Kris - I'll NEVER confuse your Element with a mini-van

Lisa - I'm in this thing for the long haul (I think) so go ahead and out me!

So, So, So excited that you have a blog!!! I was just asking Lisa about you on Sunday--I miss you!!! This will be fun to get to sort of communicate and catch up through the bloggy world. You can check my blog out if you click on my name. Now, I'm going to totally neglect my kids (maybe even yell at them :0)) and read your WHOLE blog and comment all over the place. Won't that be fun!

I miss you, too Tiffany. I think about you often. I have to confess I've been lurking on your blog for awhile now. I'm learning how to leave comments so now I'll be an active participant!

They're super cut and they fit 2 very important criteria:
1. Not rude
2. Not annoying
